Supporting Local Confectioners
When we first launched Frank & Olive I had spent countless hours researching the best sweet, biscuit and other confectionary producers in South Africa. And so what a privilege it was to find amazing artisanal confectioners working locally, each perfecting the art of what they produce and providing essential employment to many communities around the Western Cape which is where the majority of our range comes from.
Each of our suppliers is relatively small and provide us with bespoke products. This allows us to be very particular about using only the best ingredients and, of course, making sure we bring you the most delicious treats.
I have loved the hours I've spent getting to know these passionate, local businesspeople. They are true artists and I'm inspired to bring their treats to a whole new audience of discerning, sweet-toothed South Africans!
